Want these spoons? TOO LATE!
August 21st
2008
This giveaway is officially closed! We’ll announce the winners this weekend! Stay tuned!
Remember my dear friends, the Spoon Sisters? They blogged about all kinds of spoons in their post a couple of weeks ago.
In it they mentioned the dipping spoons and how they brought us together.
When I introduced them, I told you that we’d be giving away some of their spoons, and that day has arrived!
I’ve got 12 sets of dipping spoons to giveaway! Comment on this post for your chance to win.
You’ve got all day to comment, but at midnight tonight, the contest is closed.
Make sure you’re a registered Sooper Hero. Good luck!

These are too cute! My 2 year old little girl loves to help Mommy bake and these would be too much fun. Whenever I start baking, she runs over to me and says, “make a recipe! make a recipe!” Her favorite part…dumping the ingredients into the bowl from the measuring cups and spoons
Posted by Sherri Lee on August 21st, 2008 at 12:06 amI want these spoons! They are such an excellent idea; I have mega issues with tall narrow boxes of baking powder and cornflour and myriad other ingredients that manufacturers insist on packaging in silly and awkward ways - and they’re pretty!
Posted by Rosa on August 21st, 2008 at 12:13 amvery cool! who doesn’t need more kitchen gadgets??
Posted by ashley on August 21st, 2008 at 12:18 amthese spoons look adorable! great idea too

Posted by CB on August 21st, 2008 at 1:25 am/Clara
Ah-dorable!
Love the colours - they’ll be perfect for Hubs and I.
We just got married, moved into our first home, and immediately made an order with Penzey’s of 35 different spices and salt-free blends to try out. Between the spices, and all the baking supplies I get into, these will be a perfect match to our (albeit amateur) culinary skills.
Posted by Carly on August 21st, 2008 at 1:27 amOMG so gorgeous! Would definitely go with my pared down dorm cookware/bakeware.
Posted by Angie on August 21st, 2008 at 1:36 amOooooh, super cute! These are adorable and look really useful.
Posted by sara on August 21st, 2008 at 1:48 amThis are adorable! I love the bright color combination.

Posted by Denise on August 21st, 2008 at 5:21 amSpoons, spoons, rainbow colored spoons!
Spoons in nests are always best
Spoons with rings are nifty things
Spoons with bends are my best friends
For dipping spice is always nice
And for other things like mixing rice
Or for hitting (hard!) my brother Bryce
With spoons, spoons, rainbow colored spoons!
yippy skippy! another trinket for me to haaave!
Posted by Carrie SPina on August 21st, 2008 at 5:24 amThis is quite an ingenious idea, and would come in handy for all the spice jars I bought and later realized were a pain in the arse.

Posted by patsyk on August 21st, 2008 at 7:16 amThese would be great for the 60.00 worth of spices I bought last weekend at The Spice House!!
Posted by Randi on August 21st, 2008 at 7:17 amWow. These are awesome! I would LOVE to have them. I always spill spices when I am trying to measure them out of my cute little measuring jars. These spoons would fit perfectly in the jars to scoop out the right amt without wasting any of my spices. Please let me win! Below are 6 reasons why I should win.
S - Super dipping spoons would match perfectly with a lot of my other kitchen gadgets.
Posted by Kristy on August 21st, 2008 at 7:18 amP - Perfect idea, I would write a great review on my blog and link to your site and to the Spoon Sisters
O - Organic spices, my lovely organic spices would no longer be spilled and wasted with the perfect spoons to get them out of their jars.
O - Only spoons I would need in my cooking/baking drawer. I would throw out my others that don’t get the job done.
N - Networking, I would tell all my friends to go online and order a set.
S - Sooper Hero, I think you have an amazing site. I love your giveaways and posts!
Oh, I love these. Does this mean I don’t have to try and pour spices into my measuring spoons over the sink any more?

Posted by Susan on August 21st, 2008 at 8:18 amLove these! And since one the teaspoon in my current spoon set escaped to oblivion over the weekend (probably cavorting with all those lost socks from the dryer), I could probably use a new set! Mee!!!
Posted by Mel on August 21st, 2008 at 8:18 amI’m so glad something from the Spoon Sisters is the giveaway (my first!). I wasn’t able to get to their website when I read the original post because my internet was on the fritz that day. Thanks to your Sooper Hero giveaways, not only do I have the opportunity to win some really cute and incredibly useful spoons, I am also reminded that I need to check out their website (which I just did). What a treat that is! Thanks Blake, for keeping me connected to such cool people!
Posted by Amy on August 21st, 2008 at 8:18 amThese are TOO CUTE! I am always having problems with my measuring spoons - too big for the container, dont reach to the bottom… and then you try to pour the ingredient into the spoon? DISASTER waiting to happen
And the colors, the shape… adorable, ingenious! I would love to win a set!
Posted by Meghan on August 21st, 2008 at 8:19 amI do a lot of barbecuing, so as a result, I’m always putting together these complex rubs with many types of spices that I typically weigh out vs. measure with a spoon. However, because I’m totally type-A about it all, I often use a spoon to gently sprinkle the spices and herbs into the bowl I’m weighing, and the biggest challenge with that is either getting the spoon into the container or the spice onto the spoon.
I do find it a bit disconcerting that it took someone making spoons to fit the spice containers vs. the spice companies making a container to fit the spoons… couldn’t they make the bottles oblong??
Best part about these spoons is that if you ever want to serve a teeny-tiny amount of soup, they make perfect micro-ladles!
Posted by Derek A. on August 21st, 2008 at 8:22 amcool spoons! They look pretty nifty!
Posted by Heather b on August 21st, 2008 at 8:23 amThese spoons are a great idea and just the thing to brighten up a dark kitchen

Posted by Amanda on August 21st, 2008 at 8:28 amWow these spoons would save me a ton of time and mess. I don’t know how may times I’ve been a comedy act trying to get correct measurements or spill stuff. I never saw spoons like these. That one thing I like about these giveaways you get to see new unique products!!! Thanks!!!

Posted by Melissa on August 21st, 2008 at 3:55 pmI NEED these spoons. I was making chicken noodle soup last night & my 2 year old was running all around the kitchen going crazy & my 2 month old was in the living room screaming that he was hungry so I was going as fast as I could & when I went to put in the parsley I didn’t realize there was no plastic screen on the spice jar…that’s right 1/2 c dried parsley right into the soup! These spoons would have saved my soup!
Posted by Kerstin on August 21st, 2008 at 4:39 pmWow. These look way too cool. And I’m always holding jars of ingredients sideways trying to get the spoon to scoop properly while not pouring the entire jar on the floor…
