Want a free jar of dulce de leche? I’ve got 6 ready to mail.

2008
Hello, Blake Makers. Remember those secrets and surprises I mentioned a little while ago? Well, here’s one of them: Blake Makes Peanut Butter Dulce de Leche.

I’m developing a dulce de leche recipe that combines the milky caramel with creamy peanut butter (one of my favorite things). This is just the first batch, so it’s still a work in progress, but I’d love your feedback.
But how can you help unless you try it for yourself?
I’ve got 6 jars ready to ship to the first six Blake Makers to comment on this post. You can either comment with your address, or just tell me you want a jar, and I’ll e-mail you to get your address.
This is just tasting round 1. Round 2 will have more jars so more people can taste.
The clock starts now!

Hey Blake,
I’d love to try your Dulche de Leche sauce. Please email me for my mailing address.
Best,

It’s very good, we’ve been having it for a quick after work snack, a couple scoops out of the jar and also on apple slices.
You guys are gonna like it.
Blake, what other recommendations do you have for serving it? I’ll send more feedback later too.
Thanks again

Posted by Chris on January 30th, 2008 at 6:18 pmYay Chris! We like to melt it and pour it over ice cream. It’s great on fruit, and drizzled over pound cake. I’m working on the next round, which I’m thinking needs to be a little more pour-able and maybe slightly less peanut buttery. Any feedback you have will be greatly appreciated, and definitely taken into consideration. Stay tuned for mini moments. bk

Posted by Cindy on January 30th, 2008 at 9:43 pmBlake - the stuff rocks! Seriously! The consistency is perfect, the flavor is unique, yet not overpowering. You still taste the peanut butter, which I love, but it’s got an extra kick to it (dulce de leche) that really puts it at the top of my peanut butter favorites list. I love the idea of putting it on ice cream - I’ll have to try that. For now, I’ll eat it on apples and probably just out of the jar with a spoon. HA!
Posted by Natalie on January 31st, 2008 at 12:25 pmlove the title–reminds me of a series of young adult novels. or of course the wonderful kid’s movie “the peanut butter solution”…

Where can I purchase some? Please let me know by e-mail. Thank you. Andrea Smith
