Hello, Blake Makers. Remember those secrets and surprises I mentioned a little while ago? Well, here’s one of them: Blake Makes Peanut Butter Dulce de Leche.

I’m developing a dulce de leche recipe that combines the milky caramel with creamy peanut butter (one of my favorite things). This is just the first batch, so it’s still a work in progress, but I’d love your feedback.
But how can you help unless you try it for yourself?
I’ve got 6 jars ready to ship to the first six Blake Makers to comment on this post. You can either comment with your address, or just tell me you want a jar, and I’ll e-mail you to get your address.
This is just tasting round 1. Round 2 will have more jars so more people can taste.
The clock starts now!

Well, I be I am the first one the actually try BlakeMakes Dulce de Leche of all of ya’ll. I got my jar in the mail today! Thanks Blake & Bridget.
It’s very good, we’ve been having it for a quick after work snack, a couple scoops out of the jar and also on apple slices.
You guys are gonna like it.
Blake, what other recommendations do you have for serving it? I’ll send more feedback later too.
Thanks again
Chris
Yay Chris! We like to melt it and pour it over ice cream. It’s great on fruit, and drizzled over pound cake. I’m working on the next round, which I’m thinking needs to be a little more pour-able and maybe slightly less peanut buttery. Any feedback you have will be greatly appreciated, and definitely taken into consideration. Stay tuned for mini moments. bk

Blake – the stuff rocks! Seriously! The consistency is perfect, the flavor is unique, yet not overpowering. You still taste the peanut butter, which I love, but it’s got an extra kick to it (dulce de leche) that really puts it at the top of my peanut butter favorites list. I love the idea of putting it on ice cream – I’ll have to try that. For now, I’ll eat it on apples and probably just out of the jar with a spoon. HA!
love the title–reminds me of a series of young adult novels. or of course the wonderful kid’s movie “the peanut butter solution”…
So just when might your PB Dulce De Leche actually be produced & available to buy? The flavors sound too good to be true…can’t wait to taste it!
JEP…I have a meeting set for 1pm on Monday to figure this all out. Stay tuned. bk
Maybe I made it in time for round 4?
Alison Mcquade waited tooooooo long to tell me. I’m bummed. Maybe next time
There’s a new round coming within the next 2 weeks. bk
Blake: Am I too late to get a jar of your wonderful peanut butter? I’ve heard so much about it from my daughter, who received a jar the other day.
Please e-mail me for my address.
Thanks, elaine

Melissa. Can’t live without it? That’s what I like to hear. I’ll make sure to send you some. You’ll also be glad to hear that I’m working on some new flavors. How does marshmallow cream, coconut cream, fresh banana and crisp apple dulce de leche sound? They’re all in the works. Again, stay tuned! bk

Kathi

Hi Blake! When I saw this spread used in a recipe of grouprecipes.com I nearly fell out of my seat. I was extremely excited. Are you selling this? If so, can I buy some? I’m very intrigued and want to start using it and seeing what wonderful things I can make and use it with! I hope there are more different flavors of this coming soon. I think I read about the coconut ? Yummy. Again, let me know and if possible if need me I’ll purchase a few jars asap. Thank you!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
I just stumbled upon your website and discovered your earlier offer of testing your dulche de leche.
This past summer I was on a choir tour of Argentina and fell in love with the stuff. Just can’t imagine it with PB!!!!! (I’ve spent the morning looking for a “proper” PB fudge recipe (the “old fashioned” kind – no marshmallow fluff -……. I’m really interested in your PB dulche le leche. great idea! How might I obtain a bottle?????
Cyndi in Ann Arbor, MI
Oh Behave!!! Where can I get a jar of my very own?
Blake, Im dying to try this stuff. Are you selling it? How can I get my hands on a jar?
Always a day late and 47 comments short.
I am an American visiting in Brazil and enjoying lots of versions of DULCE de Leche, but no peanut butter here. So I made some for my friends hers. I happened upon your site. I canĀ“t imagine how wonderful it would be to combinr the two – but I am not that ambitious. Besides why recreate the wheel when you have done all the hard work? Where can I purchase some? Please let me know by e-mail. Thank you. Andrea Smith
