We call them “snow cones” back home (in Alexandria, LA), but they call them “snow balls” down here. The irony is that neither is in the shape of a cone or a ball. They are both just Styrofoam cups filled with syrupy snow. I don’t care what they’re called, because I just call them delicious.
Our place is Robear’s Snowballs in Harahan. Take that, Droopy’s!

OMG…I was SO happy when the snowball stands opened back up! My fave is stuffed wedding cake. NOM!
OOOOOOH! Yes! Headed to New Orleans next week and cannot WAIT to get my hands on a bright red cherry snowball with a drizzle of condensed milk! Perfect.
We call them snow balls here in Baltimore but they have chunkier, more granular ice and are topped with soft marshmallow.
Hey would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a difficult time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
