Help A Sooper Hero (Updated)

UPDATE: Thanks everyone! We got Nikki all squared away. See what a little love (and community) can do?
Hello everyone! We’ve got a Sooper Hero in need of a little help. She’s trying to add a Blake Makes Badge to her Blogger blog. I use Wordpress, so I’m not as familiar with the Blogger blogging platform.
Can someone comment on this post with instructions for how to add the badge to a Blogger blog?
Thanks!

Blake, do you have a jpg of the image? I am not familiar with blogger either, but I tried adding the code on Vox and I think the problem (for me) is that Vox is picky with the .png format. Of course, I could just copy your image and save it online somewhere as a .jpg but just wondering if you’ve already done that
Thanks!

Click on “Layout”
Assuming she has a two column layout, she should click on add page element in what looks like it would be the sidebar. A pop up appears. Then chose the HTML/JavaScript option by clicking on “add this element”. Make a title that can say anything, mine says Badges.
Put the html code into the content space. click save changes. Move the element to where you want it placed/located in the side bars.
Posted by blair on March 18th, 2008 at 1:05 pmback on the layout page, click save and it will be done.
If you do what Blair mentioned, you may still have problems. I know for my Master Baker event people have had problems adding the little logos to their blogs in blogger because for some crazy reason blogger is adding double quotes around the urls … have them check to see if that’s what’s happening, if so, messing with the quotes should help

Posted by Caitlin on March 18th, 2008 at 2:55 pmGrr… basically, take what Blake has on his badges page and take out the border=0 and the width and height values as well. Blogger chokes when you try to constrain the size, since it’s already defined by the picture source.
Posted by Caitlin on March 18th, 2008 at 2:58 pmYou guys ROCK! I did what Caitlin said, and then also what Nikki said about the quotes. Thanks! I finally got it!
(Yes…I’m the Sooper Hero who needed your help)
