Behold the power of Soopz (and dulce)

February 1st
2008

Hello, Blake Makers (and Sooper Heroes). Ok, now we’re getting some results from the dulce mail out. My friend, Dave Coustan, received his jar and blogged about it. He takes us through, pic by pic, his experiencing Blake Makes Dulce de Leche for the first time. Go check it out.

I don’t know gang, are you thinking what I’m thinking? It’s time for another round of dulce. Who wants some?

Click the image to go to Dave’s site.

Oh, and, thanks Dave. You’re a blogging rock star! See you on twitter.

  • So that’s one for Chris, one for Ali, one for Jen and one for Shannon. Got it! My jars should be in next week. Then I’ll get to work, get to cooking, get to posting and get to mailing…and get to making people smile…and totally break their New Year’s resolutions. Oh, who cares? Waistlines are irrelevant in Blakeville.

  • At this point, I’m just going to say yes until I have to say no. It seems that I can’t make this stuff fast enough. Thanks Blake Makers, Sooper Heroes, and new friends. You’re in Blakeville now. It’s always sunny and 73. Hi! :D bk

  • Great! Should we email our addresses?

This is too fun! :) And… I’m glad Blakeville is always 73 and sunny since my Chicagoland weather is always -5 and snowy!

  • Help a culinary management major out :D please! After all I could be bigger then gordon ramsey someday.

  • Looking at the jar makes me drool. I’m a lurker here and a total food freak. I’d love some, but I have to be honest and say I have no idea what I’d do with it other than smear it all over plain white toast or vanilla ice cream. If you don’t think that this is heresy (or if you have some better suggestions!) I’d love to try it.

Ohhhh, wait: I’m having a vision. A vision of Nilla wafers spread with your Dulce de Leche topped with a teeny scoop of ice cream. Teeny sandwiches. Yes.

  • Hey,

    I’d love a jar… glad I found your blog :)

I’m a terrible cook outside of breakfast, but your writings are inspiring me to at least try some new things (caramelized onion quesadillas!). Thanks!
